PURPOSE
The president of Edmondson's Hearts of Love, Vonceil Edmondson, witnessed the devastating impact of domestic violence on households and felt an unwavering passion to address this pressing issue. Fueled by a deep commitment to eliminating domestic violence, Vonceil identified the critical areas that were tragically overlooked and spearheaded the development of innovative programs to serve and uplift those affected. With an unrelenting dedication, we have placed women and children at the heart of our work, recognizing their vulnerability and the urgent need to protect and empower them. Edmondson's Hearts of Love was founded with a resolute determination to create measurable, lasting, and transformative change within communities, leaving an indelible mark that will stand as a monument to our unwavering mission.
MISSION
(Edmondson's Hearts of Love) Nonprofit Organization is deeply committed to transforming the lives of children from diverse backgrounds, enabling them to become beacons of hope within their communities. Our programs have positively impacted over 200 families, encompassing African-American, Latino, and Caucasian individuals from low-income backgrounds, as well as those affected by domestic violence.
Our primary objective at HOL is to enhance the quality of life for individuals involved in domestic violence situations by providing enriching programs. We prioritize serving children through a wide range of beneficial resources, including a comprehensive library, tutoring services, engaging recreational activities, and tools to effectively communicate their emotions. By doing so, we aim to contribute to a significant reduction in juvenile delinquency, improved academic performance, and enhanced mental well-being in communities that typically lack support systems.
To further assist families, we offer pivotal and educational financial resources. Our courses on housing security, coupon management, and resume building assistance empower families to improve their financial stability and overall well-being. By equipping families with these valuable skills, the community will experience a positive ripple effect: increased spending, decreased food insecurity, and the creation of healthier, happier households.
Through our collective efforts, Edmondson's Hearts of Love strives to bring about lasting change, ensuring that children and families from all walks of life have access to the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive. By fostering resilience, empowerment, and self-sufficiency, we envision a community where every child has the opportunity to fulfill their potential, breaking free from the cycle of violence and building a brighter future for themselves and their communities.

Our programs have served over 200 African-American, Latino, and Caucasian families from low-income families as well as Domestic Violence.
HOL will improve the quality of life of those involved in tragic domestic violence situations by providing enrichment programs. This includes serving children through a beneficial library, tutoring, recreational activities, and resources to teach them to communicate their emotions. In doing this, the community will see a decrease in juvenile delinquency, an increase in test scores, and better mental health in communities that are typically unsupported. To assist the families, we will be providing pivotal and educational financial tools, courses on housing security, coupon classes, and resume building assistance. In doing this, the community will see an increase in spending, a decrease in food insecurity, and healthier, happier homes.
